Family Strategy Session
for 8th-10th graders, juniors, seniors, transfers and their families
At the beginning of the college journey, parents and students often tell me that they don’t know what they don’t know. This one-time session offers professional perspective and clear, practical next steps tailored to your student’s unique context. It’s a great fit for families and students who are navigating a nontraditional path, considering a future advising relationship, or simply hoping to make smart, confident decisions right now.

Pre-meeting surveys for both parent and student

One 60-minute Zoom session with the family

A written summary with clear, personalized recommendations
Your student's customized plan may include:

Feedback on your student’s academic profile and insight into how colleges may interpret academic records, activities, and gaps

Advice on course selection or test planning

A shortlist of ideas and resources for summer programs, enrichment opportunities, or independent projects

Cost: $349
Families who decide to move forward with additional support can apply the full cost of the Strategy Session toward a Core or Comprehensive advising package, pending availability and within a specified time window.
