Financial Aid & Decision Support

  • Thoughtful guidance weighing options and confidently selecting a college where the student will thrive

A comprehensive model allows me to meet your student where they’re at and provide the guidance they need to complete the process, even if it means more time spent. I limit the number of students I take on for each graduating class to make sure I can devote enough time to each student according to their needs.

The cost for students starting in their junior or senior year is a one-time, total fee of $7,900. Flexible payment plans are available.

Comprehensive Transfer Admission Coaching
for current college students

I worked extensively with transfer students during my career in college admissions. In many ways, it’s a completely different landscape, so it helps to have a guide that knows her way around. More than half of PVCC students are transferring from a two-year or four-year college to find a better fit.

Transfer students also benefit from a comprehensive model of application coaching. Here’s a sample of what we’ll work on together:

  • Choosing classes and programs

  • Exploring majors and careers of interest

  • Identifying colleges where your student can thrive

  • Crafting the transfer admissions personal statement

  • Navigating transfer credits and graduation timelines

  • Evaluating student support services

  • Applying for scholarships and financial aid

  • Selecting the best place for your student to complete their bachelor’s degree

For comprehensive transfer counseling, the one-time, total fee is typically $7,900. Depending on availability and the needs of your student, a more tailored package or hourly consulting may be an option. Please schedule a consultation to discuss your student’s needs.

How it Works

High school students typically start working with me during junior year, and current college students can start any time before transferring.

Step 1: Free Consultation

Let’s meet to see if we’re a good fit. I want students to get the best support available -- even if that means referring you to a different counselor!

Step 2: Personalized 1-on-1 Coaching

Your student and I will meet on Zoom during evening and after-school hours. I’ll walk them through every step of the application and cheer them on when they finally hit the “submit” button.

Step 3: Decision-making and Transition Support

When acceptance letters arrive, I’ll help your family compare the options to find the best academic, financial, and personal fit for your student. Once they enroll, I’ll help them make first contact with the accessibility services office at their new college.

Let’s get started.
